About our speaker Br Salman Kidwai
I moved to Cary in 2001 from Chicago and have been involved in community services since then. I hold three graduate degrees in Computer Science, Humanities and Social Sciences from Duke University, NC State, and Punjab University Pakistan with majors in Project Management, Hist. and Phil. of Science, Science and Society. In the past I have served on Education committee and Shura at IAR. I am the founding member of An-Noor Quran Academy and have also served on the Al-Iman school committee as parent representative. I have also served a two years term on the advisory board of Wake County School Board. My engagement with the Islamic Centers includes arranging educational, social and health services for the refugees and people in need in the local community. I work for the State of North Carolina as Director of Projects. I have back edited a book on Information Technology for Wrox Press U.K. designed and teach PMP curriculum for the State of NC. In 2004 I was awarded “Award for Excellence”- a gold medal by the Governor of North Carolina
