A project focused on encouraging youth to extend their creativity, imagination, and teamwork through innovation and technology.

FIRST LEGO League (FLL) is a global robotics program that ignites an enthusiasm for discovery of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) in children in grades 4th through 8th.  For roughly 8 to 10 fast-paced weeks, teams work as a group to overcome obstacles and meet challenges. Teams work to find creative solutions to current, real-world issues. They will also build, test, and program an autonomous robot using LEGO MINDSTORMS technology to solve a set of missions in the Robot Game. Throughout their experience, teams will operate under the FIRST LEGO League signature set of Core Values, celebrating discovery, teamwork, and Gracious Professionalism. They then compete in local and regional tournaments where they celebrate their accomplishments with other FLL teams, family, and friends. This year’s challenge is called Hydro Dynamics, which is all about how we find, transport, use, or dispose of water.

FLL meets in 107A with Br Hassan Masood (director@icmyouth.org) and Br Shamsul Shaikh
