Inshaa Allah ICM will be holding elections for 5 open positions on the Shura in December. We will begin accepting nominations for candidates in the coming weeks. Please start thinking of who you would like to nominate to fill the openings. A nomination form will be made available when the nominating period begins.

Imam Abdenasser will start a FREE Quran class every Tuesday and Thursday after Isha for community youth ages 5-18. He will be covering Tajweed, understanding Quran and Seerah insha Allah.

Insha’Allaah today there will be a Middle School Boys Halaqa from 6:30 PM – 7:45 PM followed by the Friday Night Youth Program from 7:30 -9:45 pm at the new ICM Facility.

Girls Night meets tomorrow from 5-7:30 pm at ICM.

Tomorrow after Isha prayer all girls age 9-12 years old are invited to watch the movie “Home Alone”. The movie will be followed by a talk. Snacks will be provided. Contact Sr Tara at icmnc1@gmail.com for more details.

Sunday, November 8, there will be a masjid clean up at ICM from Thuhr to Asr. Please come and help with this effort. Refreshments will be provided.

The Triangle Refugee Support Group and Triangle Muslim Student Association are joining together in a food drive to benefit local refugee families. They are collecting non-perishable goods like rice, flour, sugar, lentils, oil, salt, pepper, spices, etc. until November 30. Please donate generously. Food may be dropped off at ICM or Apex Masjid.

The Duke Cancer Institute would like to invite the Muslim community to attend a free Faith and Healing conference that will be held at the Durham Convention Center next Monday. Please register by today, Friday 11/6 see the ICM email for details

Qabeelat Rihla announces their upcoming seminar series titled, “The Companion Series.” The purpose of the series is to learn more about those who were chosen by Allah subhanu wa ta’ala to help his final messenger [s]. - Please join the “My Muslim Neighbor” campaign and invite your non-Muslim neighbors to your home for a snack or a meal the weekends of November 14-15 or November 21-22. Most Americans do not know Muslims, and many Muslims do not know their neighbors. This is a first step to begin to fulfill our rights towards our neighbors.
